The boat was owned by <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/thomasgardnerofsalem.blogspot.com\/2014\/11\/henry-d-gardiner.html\">Henry Dearborn Gardiner<\/a><\/strong>. The information was pieced together, via Internet search, in November, 2014 which is 160 years post the shipwreck at what became the Oregon town.<\/p>\n<p>Today, I found out that H.D.&#8217;s brother, C.F., was <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.peachridgeglass.com\/2013\/11\/looking-at-gardiners-rheumatic-and-neuralgic-compound\/\">involved in more than<\/a><\/strong> the lumber business (as reported in the Boston directory).
